Our recent trip to South Africa was an important step in strengthening our partnership with Ben Hoseus, our regional partner in Africa. It was not just about business. It was also an opportunity to build stronger personal connections through shared experiences.
Focused Discussions on Growth
We started with a series of meetings on BTP Africa’s development and the creation of a local partner network. These discussions helped us understand both challenges and opportunities in the African market. Together, we explored strategies for growth, shared market insights, and identified ways to leverage our strengths. This laid a strong foundation for future collaboration.

Bonding Beyond Business
Strong partnerships require more than strategic discussions. That’s why we included informal activities to strengthen our personal bonds. One evening, we went out for dinner. It was a great way to relax, share stories, and learn more about each other’s backgrounds. Conversations flowed naturally, and we quickly found common interests—something essential for a successful collaboration.
We also played padel, a sport that requires teamwork and communication. It was both fun and a great way to experience each other’s strengths in a different setting. More importantly, it reinforced our ability to work towards a common goal.
A New Perspective
One of the most unforgettable moments was paragliding over the South African landscape. Seeing everything from above gave us a new perspective—both literally and figuratively. It symbolized what we strive for in our partnership: lifting each other up and embracing new ways of thinking.
Looking Ahead
Building strong relationships takes more than business discussions. It takes shared experiences, trust, and understanding. When we take the time to connect beyond work, we create a foundation that helps us navigate future challenges together.
Our trip to South Africa strengthened our collaboration with Ben Hoseus and gave us valuable insights for the future.
